Atari 7800
Atari Lynx
Atari was the pioneer of video games. Atari was at the height of it's popularity during the late 70's, when it dominated
about 80% of the market. Unfortunately, many stupid business decisions along with the video game crash of 1983 nearly killed
Atari, and in the space of about 5 years Atari's market share dropped from 80% to 1% as Nintendo and Sega took over the newly
revived video game market. Today, Atari lives on as a company with a long, eventful past that any gamer should know about.
Unfortunately, the past few years have been a tough time for Atari, with their sales and stock consistently going down, along
with the loss of the rights to manufacture Dragon Ball Z games. Slowly, Atari is beginning to crumble, with the possibility
of going out of business growing bigger and bigger every year as the company goes more and more into debt.
